Bella is your typical lab, she loves to use those “puppy dog eyes” to make you stay and cuddle another hour. The answer to Netflix’s infamous question is always “Yes.” Bella spends most of her time upside down begging for attention.
Rusty is one of the most active labs I have ever met. He is obsessed with playing ball, especially with golf balls or whatever you are playing with. He earns his keep by getting the newspaper every Sunday morning.
We’ll start this series off talking about diet—we’ve all heard that “abs are made in the kitchen,” and well, we agree. Luckily for these two, they are already on Solid Gold so they will not need to make any drastic changes to their meals. They have been enjoying Hund-N-Flocken for quite some time, but I do change it up pending on their body condition. Hund-N-Flocken is a wonderful moderate protein based formula, perfect for maintenance. However, sometimes Rusty is a little too active for it and needs some extra protein and calories in his life so I add in some Star Chaser or Barking at the Moon , and sometimes Bella is a little well, too lazy, so I substitute some Fit and Fabulous for her.
