Earlier this month, Pet Age chose four women for their contributions to the pet industry. Gayle Martz, Nancy Apatow, Laura “Peach” Reid and our very own Sissy Harrington-McGill, were recognized as pioneers of the pet food industry. As our founder, Sissy Harrington-McGill started Solid Gold in 1974 when she realized her own dogs deserved better food.
