Burger Fuel needs cash?

Wheres the beef?

I think some time soon they may need some cash.

Burger Fuel expansion delayed

Postby Bongo666 » 14 Apr 2009 09:20

Delays in opening BF stores in the Middle East hold back company revenue:

It had planned to have its Dubai store open by the end of last year but the city state, with its reliance on property development, tourism and financial services, had been hit hard by the global economic crunch.

"We would have liked to have been open earlier but you've got to take the recession into account. They went through a meltdown as well. Priorities change but it's to our advantage because rents are much cheaper and the sites are opening up." Continued at NZ Herald

Costs are set to blow out VS revenue...

Burger Fuel FY profit out early June

Postby Bongo666 » 11 May 2009 22:44

News out today that Burger Fuel will be opening a new store in Mission Bay (see attachment below)will be good news for investors hoping for more franchisee revenue for the company.

With an FY profit to be announced early June, investors and the market will be able to compare this full year of operations with last year and make a judgment on the health of the company in the future.

I am guessing more losses

Burger Fuel NZX profit release misleading

Postby Bongo666 » 12 Jun 2009 08:50

Yesterday's NZX release of the Burger Fuel profit was just a little too patchy for my liking. Not enough substance and too much stuff hidden in figures when comparing to last year. Best you look at the company accounts (need to be logged in to view) to get a full slightly more accurate picture.

Burger Fuel's $180,000 PA lease in Sydney

Postby Bongo666 » 16 Jun 2009 08:47

Like many businesses a question of running costs affecting Burger Fuel's bottom line seems to be on the horizon. A comment about a company owned store in Sydney on this story on Burger Fuel at the Share Investor Blog mentions a AU$150,000 PA lease for one of the 2 outlets the company owns in Sydney.

At around NZ$180,000 for just one store we are talking high costs for a small space.

Stay tuned for more...
