A Small Change in Strategy

Postby kbot » 23 Jun 2010 12:41

I have some funds in managed funds - Tower Global Commodities. I had this for just under a year and only got a 2.5% return. No doubt some executive is sipping champayne at a prime restaurant from the fees earned for "looking after" my fund. I will be withdrawing my investment from that fund for now, due to me anticipating another hopefully short-lived global crisis - the chinese property bubble at some stage near.

I have some share companies in mind:

Freightways: Strong
PGW: Maybe, medium
Air NZ : Maybe, weak
TEL: No way!

These three companies are pretty much at a low, so just wanted your thoughts.

Wait for longer. Methinks you are correct about China....

Hi,

Investing in mutual funds is not looking profitable for investor, better release your money from mutual fund and invest it at some more productive area. Buying and selling share may be a good idea in current scenario.
